After the enormous success of MAPE's Paddington Bear
Project we now have the Owl and Panda visits...
Originally planned just for the Summer Term 2003, we have decided to extend the
activity for another term. You can have Owl and Panda, both glove puppets, to stay at your school for a week during the
Autumn term. They will arrive by post and will need to be sent on to the next school to arrive the following Monday.
Each school will be expected to produce "Owl and Panda" stories/plays for a specified audience. These can be written by a class or individual pupils using
our website frame work for a BIG BOOK. This is easy to use and will enable lots of other children to share in the experience. Here is the first story.
If you wish to take part, please supply the following details:-
School address with brief description and contact person.
Class /year you aim to work with.
by email to betty.lumley@mape.org.uk
or by post to Betty Lumley 28 Westbury Road, Northwood, HA6 3BX
