Year Four’s Trip to Leigh Environmental Classroom

I’m helping these three to collect leaves, flowers, buds and berries to show the colours and textures of nature. No eating was allowed!

We found a butterfly and the children were all excited because they had been finding out about the life cycle of butterflies and had grown five butterflies from caterpillars in class.

‘Is it a bird? Is it a plane…?’

We finished the day painting rainforest masks. I helped Rachael with hers. It was good.
