Friday was my busiest day at Lidget Green Primary School; I had so much to do before I left Bradford for Woking. I had promised that I would help with the new building and it was the Reach for the Stars assembly and I was going to York for the day with Year 3 to learn about the Vikings.
Reach for the Stars
I felt very proud today because Mr Pope said I had earned enough points to leave the Earth and go to a different planet. I had earned 150 points in a week; no-one has ever earned so many in such a short space of time. This meant I had to go to Mars. I went through the rocket; there was loud music and lots of smoke. Then Mr Pope gave me a Mars bar and my badge ≠ a red one with stars on it. Everyone clapped at me. The clap is called a space clap; the children clap their hands above their heads.
Year 3 have been learning about Vikings and they invited me to go with them on their visit to Jorvik.
We travelled back in time to the time of the Vikings, it was very noisy, every one was speaking Swedish, and it was very smelly.

Last Job before Leaving
I had promised to lend a paw on the building site because it is nearly ready, just a few more weeks to being completed. The Site Manager signed me up and gave me a number IW122. I had to wear a hard hat because building sites can be dangerous places.
I really enjoyed driving the dumper truck.
hard work on a building site. I tried hiding behind the sign but the Site
Manager found me,
He took me into the new Hall to work, at
least it was out of the rain and the mud. I think the building will be wonderful
when it is finished. The children are supposed to be moving into it after
the Easter holidays.
