  Monday
Paddington arrives at Wentworth School and Mrs. Duroe, the head teacher and Mrs Lilly, the secretary, introduce him to Mrs. Staniforth and Class 1.

He gets a warm welcome and they are really interested to see where he has been already. He has lots of things with him in his suitcase.

Paddington enjoys his first lunch at Wentworth - marmalade sandwiches of course.

He thanks the dinner ladies, Mrs. Stroud and Mrs. Taylor. The juniors plan tomorrow's lunch in 'Design a Sandwich Box' for Paddington.

Monday afternoon the school photographer arrives. Paddington manages to get on every class photo - right at the front!

Tuesday
Paddington pops into the SATs tests with Class 3 but decides it's not for him so he has a guided tour around Wentworth instead.
Later he works with Miss Spink and some of Class 2 to download the photos he has taken onto the computer.

Tuesday evening he 'chills out' at the Youth Club.

Wednesday
  Today, after some Literacy
work (Paddington questions and answers) with Class 1 in the morning Paddington is guest of honour at their Paddington Picnic.
The local press call at the school. They interview Mrs. Duroe and Paddington and take some photos of Paddington with some of his new friends. His picture and the reason for his visit appear in two local newspapers - The Star and The Rotherham Advertiser.
Just to make sure he gets plenty of exercise after all that food, Paddington joins the Indian Dancing with Class 2 in the afternoon.

  Thursday
Maths and Literacy with Class 1 and Reception then its picnic time again - this time with Reception Class followed by games and skipping. The children are practising for a sponsored skipping afternoon in aid of a national charity appeal.

Thursday evening and there's no time to rest - its off to Ju-jitsu.

  Friday
Swimming lesson with Class 3 in the morning. Then it's time for Paddington's final lunch. He is first in the queue - all that exercise has made him very hungry.

Friday afternoon, and Paddington says his final sad good-byes
to Mrs. Duroe and the children during good work assembly.
